amazing scenery right?

we've long since returned to new york, but i realized that i hadn't posted any pictures of our visit to olympic national park. how gorgeous is this place?

in other news, we had our one year check up today. she's evidently had a bit of a growth spurt--30 3/4 inches (90th percentile, we've never been higher than 75th), and almost 22 lbs (75th percentile). and thankfully, her head seems to have shrunken to normal size (50th percentile). phew.
