thanksgiving report

i can't believe i haven't reported yet! yikes! anyway: here's the bird. i probably should have taken it out of the oven 15 minutes earlier, but it wasn't too bad. nothing a little gravy and cranberry sauce couldn't fix.the rest of the spread: roasted brussel sprouts with bacon and chestnuts (not a huge fan, going back to string beans next year), mac and cheese, chestnut wild rice cranberry stuffing, maple-thyme glazed sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, mixed greens with gorgonzola and candied pecans, maple cranberry sauce, and giblet gravy.
