the four-year-old report

i can't believe i let 10 days lapse without reporting on amelia's actual birthday. ack. well, here she is, clad in her super cute star-spangled dress, courtesy of halmoni, discovering the pleasures of a hose. (and check out the cute little house in the background, hand-me-down from big yiyi/alicia!)

we had a lovely bbq with the cooper-kims, who even baked amelia a birthday cake:
and then we saw the fireworks that momma arranged for her by "calling the man to ask for fireworks." they were pretty spectacular and amelia's favorites are "the ones that sizzle."

we had our four-year-old check up and the stats are as follows: 36 pounds (50th percentile), 40.5 inches tall (50-75th percentile).
