the girl in the middle is brooklyn, amelia's new best friend. she came home from school last week and said this: "momma, brooklyn and i realized that we're best friends!" i asked her how they "realized" it, and she said, gesticulating emphatically, "i don't know mom, but we just REALIZED IT!!!!"
