the summer report

ok, it's been a really long time, but the trial is finally over (you know things aren't good when you overhear your child saying repeatedly, "when momma's trial is over, we can do [fill-in blank with fun activity]), but i'm re-emerging.  i can't believe the days are getting shorter already.  soon (and thankfully for her), amelia will be back at school.  

in my absence, amelia learned to ride a bike.  here she is with her bike camp friends, in her cycling gloves, having ridden from fort mason to the ferry building:
