amelia discovers sugar
about a month ago, amelia discovered that the only part of the cupcake she wants is the frosting. indeed, she licked the frosting off, and gave the rest of the cupcake back to me. and she did the exact same thing last night:
***this morning we met friends at a playground. as we were leaving, they offered her some chocolate milk that she snatched up. she asked me, "momma, why don't you buy chocolate milk?" i said, "because i think it has too much sugar." she paused, and responded, "but i like sugar."

is that a ponytail? i've never seen her hair put back like that before. very cute. btw, are you using a new lens?
her hair was actually in braids! she doesn't let me do anything with her hair--her nanny did it. no new lens, just same as usual.
