here's to norma
i've gotten a lot of fan hate mail recently directed at the lack of posts, all variations on "why aren't you posting more pictures of amelia??!?!" one of amelia's biggest fans is norma, a woman who works at my old job, who says she checks the blog everyday, and recently has been extremely disappointed. she said nothing would make her day more than if we posted a video of amelia saying hi norma, so here you go, norma!
i realize this may start a stampede of similar requests, so if you are going to make such a request, give us a good reason why we should.

how about a video of her saying "hi uncle david...i'm sorry that i ask poppa or momma to call you all the time and then when you pick up i refuse to talk with you. i know it makes you really sad when i don't say a word except bye! i apologize and this is my way of making up for it." or a simple "hi uncle!" will work as well.
Amelia - you are the cutest girl in the world! Your friends in New York - Christopher and your namesake Amelia #2 - send you lots of love.

And, Uncle David, Amelia's friend Clio (my daughter) pulls the very same phone trick on a regular basis. Even worse, she asks to call Nonny, but when Nonny gets on the phone, she says "No Nonny, Only Papa." Needless to say, my mom (The Nonny in question) does not love this.
i think this would be a good way to shore up your college fund, amelia!
