i never wanted to be one of those moms who wore matching outfits with their daughters, but somehow on saturday, amelia and i were both wearing striped boatneck t-shirts with navy capris. at least the matching was subtle.

i realize this meager post does not make up for the two weeks without any pictures, but here are some choice quotes from amelia, uttered these last two weeks:

"daddy, stop torturing me!"--in response to poppa kwong poking her.

"i go to school, mommy and daddy go to work, come home, give me BIG HUUUG. [three-second pause.] [sniff.] i no want to go to school. waaaaah!"--on the way to school, trying to convince herself that she wants to go to school.

"otis got boo-boo? big boo-boo? i give him big hug and kiss and make him feel better."--after seeing a picture of otis with a big boo-boo on his face.

"no, daddy, get your own!"--in response to poppa kwong trying to steal beef jerky from her.

"i run really fast on the grass, fall down, bump my head."--non-responsive response to question on how she got a tiny cut on her finger.

"baby bee is teeny tiny. not big. tiny."

"puffer fish get scared, do this: [puffs out her cheeks]."
