it's been a while

sorry folks, but i'm back at work, and i'm swamped (at work and at home). the picture of gaby and his teeth just eludes me, but here are some photos from this weekend anyway.

gaby has two teeth! he generally covers them with his tongue (therefore no pics), but they definitely poke out.

also, he's now had rice cereal, apples, peas and carrots, and breadcrumbs. he's not so fond of rice cereal (smart boy), loves the breadcrumbs (it's like feeding a bird) and peas/carrots, and he's getting used to apples.

question of the day

is it the soft spoon or the rice cereal that he loves so much?

we spent christmas in LA with all the cousins reunited. the happiest (busiest) place on earth

after years of promising her, we finally took amelia to disneyland. unfortunately for us, we chose one of the two busiest days in the history of disneyland. even waiting an hour to get in the parking lot, couldn't dampen amelia's spirits. here we are on the tram ride in:

yes, amelia is in fact wearing a sleeping beauty costume. every other little girl there was in some princess costume or other.

we didn't manage to ride on a single ride, but we did see the holiday parade (which was pretty cool), and after waiting in line for 90 minutes, amelia got to take photos with belle, ariel, and tianna. and that's about all we accomplished. here she is curtesying with belle:
